Woodson ISD will hold a General Election on May 2, 2026, at the normal polling place of the Woodson Town Hall. Two full three-year terms will be on the ballot. 


Current state law requires a candidate for trustee of an independent school district to be a qualified voter by the time prescribed by Election Code Section 141.001. An application for a place on the ballot must be filed with the Elections Administrator located in the Woodson ISD Main Office, 207 E. Hill Street, Woodson, TX 76491, beginning Wednesday, January 14, 2026 and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026.
